Dr. P. Michael Kosicek, an esteemed figure at IUP, earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in business education and a Ph.D. in administrative studies-public sector, all from IUP. He dedicated numerous years to teaching undergraduates and MBA students, playing a pivotal role in establishing the doctoral business program. Honored with the University Senate’s Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching in 2018, his sudden passing in 2023 deeply affected those touched by his compassion and dedication. To honor his legacy, we invite donations to the Dr. P. The Master of Science in Health Services Administration program owes its existence to Dr. Janice Holmes, an associate professor in the Nursing and Allied Health Department at IUP for 18 years. Dr. Holmes, with a background in epidemiology, also established a nursing computer lab and contributed to the undergraduate nursing program's curriculum. Her passing in 2021, following a battle with cancer, was a loss felt deeply by the IUP community.
